The Body Shop International PLC, known as The Body Shop, has 1,200 products in 2,500 stores in 61 countries. The company, which has its headquarters in Littlehampton, West Sussex, England, was founded in 1976 by Anita Roddick and is now part of the L'Oréal corporate group. It had opened one at Singapore in 1983.

The Body Shop was bought in 2006 by L'Oreal, which sold it to Natura & Co in 2017, before moving to Aurelius Group in November 2023.
