Mandai Depot is a full maintenance train depot located in Mandai, Singapore. It will be operational from 2019 onwards.
Located at 32 ha site, bounded by Mandai Road, Seletar Expressway and Lorong Lada Hitam, it is within the Mandai Agrotechnology Park and has the capacity to stable up to 90 trains.
The depot will however, stable the Thomson-East Coast Line trains, and will include a rail administration building, stabling yard, test track and control room. The administrative building will house the OCC for the Thomson-East Coast Line. A 66kV substation will be built to support the operation of the TEL.
The depot is located between Woodlands South station and Springleaf station on the Thomson-East Coast Line and has 3 reception tracks: 1 track Woodlands North-bound towards Woodlands South station and 2 tracks Sungei Bedok-bound towards Springleaf station.
History[]
First announced by the Land Transport Authority on 16 June 2011, construction of the depot would commence at the end of 2012 and is expected to be an at-grade depot. The largest orchid farm, Orchidville was moved on 11 December 2012 to Sungei Tengah, and construction of the depot had begun in January 2013.
The Contract T201, was awarded to Jurong Primewide Limited on 18 October 2013 and construction works began in January 2014 formally.
There were two workers killed in lorry accident at Mandai Depot worksite on 3 November 2016.
The bus depot is situated at the roof of the train stabling yard, and was served for people who do not have accommodation during the Stay-Home Notice (SHN) in response to 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak.

Mandai Depot will be a future 3-in-1 depot, which consists of the headquarters for Thameslink, a train depot. It will also have much competition. The following routes will be in Mandai Depot:
